Smart Docent System
The Yang Hwa-jin Cemetery docent system is prepared by providing volunteer guides for each group but also by a non-face-to-face smart docent system where visitors can easily access faithful explanations on their smartphones for every missionary at any time without a guide.

Smart docent system using QR codes

First, scan the QR code using the camera app installed on your smartphone. Then you can select the language (Korean, English, Japanese or Chinese) to play the video. After watching the video, there is a more detailed explanation for each missionary on how they have served, which is written with spoken narration. QR codes can be found on each information board and also printed on a guidebook. (To listen without being disturbed, we recommend using earphones or headphones)

Demonstration Video : As a missionary, the Underwoods
Each video is about 3 minutes long

Main Course : Recommended to start from the lobby and walk in ascending order. (1~25)

Extra Course : Visitors from the Baptist Church or the Holiness Church, we recommend to add 26 and 27 for your course.

25 missionaries out of 145 are chosen for the course. It is not because their achievements are greater than others, but rather based on how much dedication they have made to propagate Christianity and affect the Korean society.
A final video is available at the end of the course to help you visit the Yang Hwa-jin Hall where articles left by the deceased are preserved.
